Courage…. that is what the Cowardly Lion was seeking when he went to visit the wizard in the beloved story The Wizard of Oz.  Madame Alexander has recreated this lovable, furry character in the Madame Alexander Storyland series of Dolls.  This Cowardly Lion doll is 8 inches tall and has a wonderful mane and tail.  His face has great detail and this Madame Alexander doll will surely be a great addition to your Wizard of Oz doll collection!  There is also a 4 1/2 inch Cowardly Lion doll available.  This doll was created by Madame Alexander for McDonald’s Happy Meals.

Straight from the Wizard of Oz, Madame Alexander brings to life Dorothy, the lovable lost girl who just wanted to go home to Kansas. Dorothy is dressed in her blue and white gingham dress and comes with her beloved dog Toto. In some versions of the 8 inch doll Dorothy’s hair is in braids, while other versions have it in curls. Both styles look great! There is also a 4 1/2 inch version of Dorothy that was available in McDonald’s Happy Meals.
